Sequin Sparkle and Change Bible Review

I think it is very important that kids start reading in a real Bible instead of just Bible storybook when they are young. But they are still kids and I think it is a good idea to keep their reading time something they enjoy. One way to do that is by giving them Bibles that are pleasing to look at and that they will be proud of. We just recently received the new Sequin Sparkle and Change Bible from Thomas Nelson. It is so pretty and fun that any young girl would love to own it.

The Sequin Sparkle and Change Bible is a hardcover Bible with "Mermaid Sequin" on the cover. This Bible comes in pink and blue and is written in the International Children's Bible Translation for kids in ages 6-10. This translation is written so that children as young as the third-grade can read it and understand what they are reading about.

The "Mermaid Sequins" are multi-colored when swiped downward. When you rub them so that they all move upward there is a shiny silver heart in the center of the colored sequins. The size of the Bible is perfect for little hands even though it is a full Bible. There are boldface words throughout the text to indicate that those words are included in the dictionary and concordance. There are also colorful illustrated pages that are pleasing to look at. They include a Bible timeline, maps, lined pages for the child to write their favorite verses, and articles to help children learn how to live for Christ.

With a new year just beginning it is the perfect time to encourage your kids to start reading their own Bible. The new Sequin Sparkle and Change Bible is the perfect Bible choice to start with.
