A few weeks ago the girls and I were organizing our CDs. We pulled them all out to make sure the correct CD was in the correct case and we put them in alphabet order again. We were separating them and my girls were getting a kick out of some they had not listened to in a long time and some they didn't even realize we owned. One of my girls found an old Amy Grant CD and they couldn't get over how young she looked. The very next day I was offered Amy Grant Tennessee Christmas to review.
This CD contains thirteen songs to celebrate Christmas including some hymns and one featuring Vince Gill. Amy first recorded Tennessee Christmas in 1983 when she was 22. On that record jacket was a picture of her two grandmothers. She is still singing this song and now she includes a picture of her with her grandchild.
- Tennessee Christmas
- To Be Together
- Christmas For You And Me
- Melancholy Christmas
- December
- White Christmas
- Joy To The World
- I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm
- Baby, It's Cold Outside (featuring Vince Gill)
- Christmas Don't Be Late
- Still Can't Sleep
- Another Merry Christmas
- O Come, All Ye Faithful
Amy wishes that you feel nostalgic, warm, hopeful, loved, and not alone when you listen to this album. She is also asking her fans to upload any videos that you may have of surprising your loved ones for the holidays to social media and use the hashtag #TNChristmasSurprise. Amy will share a video compilation of these holiday surprises to share on her social media.
I leave my Christmas music out all year and listen to it often. This new Amy Grant Tennessee Christmas will get plenty of use in the next month but also throughout the year. I have a copy of Amy Grant Tennessee Christmas to giveaway.
