Youth Group Progressive Dinner

Last year we had a progressive dinner for the youth group at our church. My girls had so much fun, they wanted to do it again this year. We visited five different houses and ended at the church to play games.

We started with appetizers at our house. The girls and I had three choices. We had spinach dip in fillo shells, veggies with ranch, and Italian bread with burnt sugar, cream cheese & fresh fruit.

Most of the kids could sit at our table.

Our second stop was for soup. Our hosts offered us chili & white chicken chili. They offered shredded cheese, crackers, and crescents to go with our soup.
The kids sat all over the living room, dining room, and even on the stairs to eat their soup.

Next we stopped to have salad. Most of the kids took their salad or taco salad outside, but a few of them sat in the living room.

At the main course house we were fed pizza and bread sticks. A favorite of all the kids.

Lastly we had dessert. A few of the kids put together a large banana split & then everyone scooped theirs and added toppings.

At the church we played musical chairs, pictionary, and dodge ball.

Of course the girls wanted to go against the boys a few times for dodge ball.

We all had a great time of fun, food, and fellowship. A big Thank You goes out to all the houses that we stopped at to eat and run!!
