Robert Pierre CD Review & Giveaway

A couple of months ago I introduced you to a great Christian singer, Robert Pierre. Well, I have great news because he has a new album titled I'm All In and will be out on July 26, 2011.  I was lucky enough to recieve one early to preview and I have one CD to giveaway.

My family and I have really enjoyed this CD, Robert has a way with words and music far beyond his age. The music is very upbeat with positive lyrics. A preview can be listened to at Amazon or ITunes.

Are you who you say you are

Will your life shine in the dark
Are you standing on the truth
when opposition stands against you

Who are you?

Just so I make myself clear
This ain’t no game we’re playing here
There is no fence to hold you up
So decide which side to give up

Who are you?

Who are you?

You’re either hot or you’re cold
Either yes or you’re no
Will you stay or will you run
Who will you become
You’re either in or you’re out
Either soft or you’re loud
When He calls for His own
~Who R U

I'm All In can be purchased at Amazon or on ITunes. The CD has 11 songs:

I'm All In
Who R U
Light The Way
Maker Of The Stars
Be Lifted Up
Stranger In This Land
Silent Cry
Sing For Joy
Greater Is He
Dead To Sin
Trust In You

Robert is a very determined and talented young man. Not many kids just graduating from high school actually know what they want to do with their lives but he is headed in the right direction.

For Robert, I’m All In is more than the name of his third studio album, due July 26 from thinkaboutit records. It has become Robert’s life motto as he responds to God’s calling to live fully committed to Him. In addition to writing and recording I’m All In and playing on a summer tour, Robert also leads regular Sunday morning worship at his 800-member Orlando, Fla., church. And he’s done it all as a high school senior.

“All of the songs have something to do with things I was going through my senior year,” Robert said of I’m All In, “preparing to say goodbye to friends and not really knowing what would come next, but finding comfort and peace in the Lord’s plan for my life. The Bible talks about how the eyes of the Lord are searching to and fro throughout the earth, searching for someone whose heart is wholly His, someone He can strongly support. This CD is me saying, ‘I’m all in.’”

Creating I’m All In was a powerfully personal experience for Robert, who teamed with veteran songwriter Jason Ingram (Tenth Avenue North, Sanctus Real, Bebo Norman) and legendary producer Matt Bronleewe (Jars of Clay, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman) on the album. The result is a collection of songs that enthusiastically and energetically worship God while wrestling with what it means to be a Christian in a world full of difficulty and joy, anxiety and excitement.

I have one CD to giveaway and will select the winner on Wednesday morning August 3, 2011.

....from the Mouth of Babes

When I read a book I don't expect to make a friend but after reading Kimberly Williams .....from the Mouth of Babes I feel like I personally know her. Kimberly shares her heart while she shows how to apply scripture to our daily lives and with our kids. She has a way of taking everyday events and turning them into teaching moments we can all apply to our lives.

.....from the Mouth of Babes is a collection of short stories about life, children, faith, and this world we live in. The 170 pages are divided into 4 categories: Stories about Marriage and Children, Stories about Life and Spiritual Growth, Stories about the Church and our Culture, and Stories about Holidays and Special Occasions. Some of Kimberly's stories are about evolution, feminism, thanks-giving, music, silence, discipline, dying, and pajamas and they will have you thinking, crying, and laughing. The book can be purchased on Create Space or Amazon for $14.95.

About the author:
Kimberly Williams is a pastor's wife, homeschooling mother, author, and most importantly a disciple of Jesus Christ. Living with her husband and three precious children, her career is her family. With the loving support and encouragement from her husband and the amazing grace of God, she has been homeschooling for ten years. Each year brings new experiences, creates wonderful memories, and brings her family closer together. The Williams family realizes that homeschooling is much more than ABC's and 123's. It is about discipleship. Kimberly has contributed to various homeschooling magazines including Home School Enrichment and Homeschooling Today. Her passion for writing has one purpose, to point others to Jesus Christ.

She is the author of Living Out the Word, a series of expository ladies Bible studies through the books of the Bible. In addition to writing, Kimberly also enjoys speaking to women and encouraging them in their daily walk with the Lord. She points them to God's Word and challenges them to be a true help meet to their husbands and loving mothers to their children. In her spare time, Kimberly loves to read classic literature, play the piano, and write songs and poetry. She would love to hear from you on her blog at Until the Day Dawn.

I received ....from the Mouth of Babes free of charge from Kimberly Williams in exchange for my review.
