She asked the questions:
What are your goals, and how have you been doing? Why is this important to you?
I think it is very important to read to my kids everyday. We get to spend time together and we learn so much no matter what book we are reading. Sometime the girls will just curl up in a blanket to listen, other times they like to color. We always read at night after our family devotions & sometimes we accidentally stay up way to late!
I don't really set goals for our read aloud time, we have a very long list of books we want to read. We usually take turns picking them out.
I also encourage my kids to read everyday to themselves and some times to each other.
This week we have read:
The Hardy Boys #19 Mystery of the Disappearing Floor
The Hardy Boys #20 Mystery of the Flying Express
I picked up the first 5 Hardy Boy books at our Library book sale in the fall & gave them to my girls for Christmas. They have really enjoyed them and we are now ready for #21.Andi's Scary School Days by Susan K. Marlow
The Eskimo Twins by Lucy Fitch Perkins
Plus several picture books
We are currently reading:
The Japanese Twins by Lucy Fitch Perkins
School Read Aloud:
