Go Go Kabongo

Alaina, age 6 has been playing a fun online game called GoGo Kabongo that helps promote early learning skills in children ages 4-7. She really enjoyed playing the games, she said it didn't seem like school. Her favorite thing was using the stickers in the Comic Book Maker and taking pictures in the Photo Safari. The printable coloring sheets and activities were also a big hit with her. Even though Alaina is already reading she has enjoyed playing the games and at only $4.95 it is definitely worth the price.

There are 3 Habitat's with 3 different games in each Habitat. Right now 2 Habitat's are FREE and the 3rd Habitat is only $4.95. That price is forever, there are no subscription fees. You can register for the free part of the game here.

The three Habitats are: Laughter Lake, Galaxy Garden, and Twister Top. In each Habitat children can play learning games, solve mini-missions, and discover hidden treasures while they meet friendly characters along the way.
GoGo Kabongo  helps children to develop good thinking habits, which will help them to become better readers. It also helped develop essential reading skills such as:

  • Attention and Focus
  • Memory Skills
  • Processing
  • Planning
  • Visualization
  • Comprehension
You can check on your child's progress to see which level they are on in each section of the game. It also shows what skills they have been working on.

Alaina's Progress Report for Galaxy Gardens

Kabongo was launched in the fall of 2010 and was founded by a cognitive psychologist and a team of game designers. They wanted to help kids learn to read more effectively by building their critical thinking skills.

Sail on over to the TOS Crew blog and see what others had to say about GoGo Kabongo.
As a member of TOS Crew I received GoGo Kabongo free for one student in exchange for my review of their product.
