Discover The Mystery Behind The Beloved C.S. Lewis Series
released January 11, 2011
Are you fascinated with the Chronicles of Narnia or C.S. Lewis? Were they written for mere pleasure or is there a code behind it?
As part of the Propeller Marketing Blogger Program I had the opportunity to preview The Narnia Code documentary by Michael Ward. I have read the Narnia books by C.S. Lewis just for the adventures they contain, but this documentary really got me to thinking about why they were written and if there really is a secret code to them.
This documentary gives us a look into C.S. Lewis' life and how his childhood drastically changed after the death of his mother. Michael Ward then takes us to the Narnia series and how he discovered a medieval astronomy connection. He then goes on to talk about the book and planet relationships and what other people think about his theory.
In the 45 minutes of bonus features they show his home & share interviews with people who knew C.S. Lewis personally. In the final feature Michael Ward talks about the relationship between the books and planets including the last three books that aren't talked about in the main documentary.
Enter to win a copy of The Narnia Code and see if you agree with Michael Ward's theory.
Leave a comment for each one below. A winner will be drawn on Wednesday evening, December 15th.
