Didn't your mom ever tell you not to lick the styrofoam suckers?
The carousel is beautifully decorated and the rides are free in Dec.
Now for some reindeer games.
Then we headed over for a hayride. Ours was pulled by a wagon, but if you go on a weekend it is actually pulled by a team of horses. As you ride or drive through the park you will get to see Santa's Village.
Here is Santa's house.
This one is just a toy house.
I didn't know Santa could drive a train!! But this is North Platte, home of the largest Railroad yard. I guess anyone can drive a train here.
Here the elves are busy with fixing the toys.
This one is the reindeer shed, I guess they get a break since Santa is on the train.
The water fountain is always so pretty with the blue lights.
The gingerbread house is my kids favorites.
In this house there is a little old lady reading a story, there is actually a speaker so you can here the story being read. I'm not sure if she is supposed to be Mrs. Claus or not.
I think this house has circus or fair items.
The house is a little blurry, but it is the penguins.
This house has dolls dressed up & it looks like they are window shopping.
This is my family on the hayride.
This display is in the bed of a semi, dancing bears and kids playing in the snow.
While driving around you need to be on the lookout for flying reindeer and elves crossing the street.
