HOLIDAY BLISS 2010

Brenda from the Garden of Learning hosted the Gratitude Challenge and now she is hosting the Holiday Bliss 2010. Every day in December I am going to blog something about the holidays, it can be recipes, crafts, traditions, thoughts or things we do for the holidays. Anyone can join or you can just stop over and read what other people do this time of year.

As most of you know Christmas is my favorite holiday and I always have something I want to do this time of year. The first thing I like to do is decorate our tree.
One thing I love about my old house is the 10' ceilings. We actually moved in December and that first year we bought a little 3' tree that you pull out of the box and plug in. The next year I used the 6' tree that we had used for years and it looked so small. My friend was shopping at Menards the week before Christmas and they had marked their decorated trees down to $50, she called to let me know in case I wanted to buy one. The tree she was looking at was decorated in a hunting theme and she only wanted the ornaments to hang in her son's room. I knew right away that they were on the tree I wanted so she took the ornaments and I took the tree. I was so excited I only had to pay $25.00 for a 9' tree.

Wow, your tree is beautiful - and what a steal! It looks like it's right out of a magazine!
