Gratitude Challenge Day 24
We all love to play games at our house. Every year at Thanksgiving my dad & step mom come out for Thanksgiving and we have traditions we do every year. We play games, go bowling and just hang out for three days. One tradition my kids have kept going is having Papaw Larry bring out Big Red in a can. For a long time we could not buy Big Red here in NE. Now we can buy it in the 2 liter bottle so I told my dad he didn't have to bring it any more since we could get it here. A couple weeks ago Alaina asked my why Papaw Larry didn't bring Big Red in cans to her any more. I explained to her that we could buy it here & she said it just isn't the same in a bottle it has to be from a can. So Papaw Larry wanted to please his 5 year old granddaughter and brought her Big Red in a can. I guess some traditions will never be broken & I am very thankful for that.

That is so sweet! It's those types of things that makes our days special, isn't it! I have never heard of Big Red. I'll have to see if we have it here locally.
It's the little things in life LOL My brother use to bring a flower for every female in the house during a holiday. My oldest daughter brought it up one day and said she misses that. Not that he brought her something, but that he thought of everyone like that. It was a tradition.
That's so cute! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with lots of family fun, and Big Red in a can!
